Raised in South Africa, Micah Cloete has always been captivated by the world of art. His journey through traditional art, storytelling, photography, acting, and music reflects a lifelong passion for creative expression. Each phase of his life has been marked by a new artistic pursuit, but it was the sheer joy of transforming a blank canvas into something beautiful that became his ultimate passion—a passion that remains unwavering to this day.

Micah’s commitment to art led him to pursue formal education in the field, where he excelled, earning high grades and numerous awards over three years. His artistic journey took a significant turn when his family entered the “green card lottery,” a chance to move to the United States with a legal green card. Miraculously, they progressed through each round, despite the fear and uncertainty they faced. With their faith and hope placed in what they believed was God’s will, they continued forward, trusting that this opportunity was part of a greater plan.

Then, the unexpected happened—they won the lottery. This momentous news brought a whirlwind of emotions and decisions as they prepared to leave behind everything familiar and embark on a new chapter in an unknown land. Despite the challenges, Micah and his family embraced this leap of faith, driven by the belief that it was a step in the right direction.
