Painted throughout a week - a week and a half with a total of 12 hours.

The painting is semi realistic, the focus is on the contrast of complimentary colors from the bright orange to the darker blues, therefore creating a field of depth. The composition leads your eyes from the focal point (the Sun breaking through the branches) leads your eyes towards the branches as they expand the the rest of the painting. the focal point is enhanced by the continuous Vertical Bright Line, brought by the sun as opposed to the contrasted jagged broken lines from the branches and even the clouds. Thus Giving the Sun a sense of strength and warmth.
